It is our goal to pass onto valued clients the essentials to the Occupational Health and Safety Act to enable them to reduce the risk of critical injury, loss of life or damages to their work environments by educating the employer through knowledge, training and experience of our profession and the professionals within company organizations by adopting safe work practices to increase productivity and job performance within institutions.

Basics of Fall Protection

This program provides workers with the basic knowledge required to work safely in areas exposed to fall hazards. Upon completion, participants will be able to recognize fall hazards and identify and apply fall protection controls. A review of legislative requirements will also be discussed, and a hands on component of fall arrest equipment shall be introduced.

This program does not cover site-specific equipment and procedures. Workers should receive additional training on specific fall-protection equipment and applications they will encounter on the job.

A certificate of achievment, wallet card and record of training for the employer will be provided upon successful completion of this program.

This program can be delivered at your business or First Place Safety's Ltd. training facility.

Course duration: approx. 3-4 hours.

Note: This course should be reviewed annually or as deemed necessary by company JHSC.
